For some of the organizations on HappyTeams, our daily questions are sent by e-mail. We use images to present the emojis that your team-members click to answer the daily question.
For most e-mail clients and platforms, these images are shown without issue, however, we have been made aware of an issue where, for some users, these images don't show in Microsoft Outlook when accessed in a Web Browser.
This is often due to a security setting in Microsoft Outlook, and is easily solved using one of the three methods below:
Method 1 - Load Images for an Email
Usually, when this happens, there will be a prompt at the top of the e-mail alerting your team member that loading of images has been prevented. They can click this to see an option which will allow them to load images.
Method 2 - Email Whitelist
If an image has been blocked in your team members e-mail, they can add our e-mail to their "Safe Senders List" by following these steps:
Click the Settings Icon (which looks like a gear/cog).
In the text box type Safe Senders.
Select Safe Senders And Domains.
Select Add in the Safe Senders And Domains area.
Enter hello@happyteams.io.
Click Save.
Method 3 - Allow All Images
If an image has been blocked in your team members e-mail, they can allow External Images to load by following these steps:
Click the Settings Icon (which looks like a gear/cog).
In the text box type External Images.
Select External Images.
Select Don't use the Outlook service to load images.
